----Danielle Adams, Community Engagement Associate with Denver Clerk and Recorders Office, talks about a crisis of voter registration in the East Colfax neighborhood. Our most populous areas have extremely low voter registration and we need a plan to change that.
--Neighborhood Eviction Watch program. Description and talk with someone here who lost housing a few weeks ago, Blair Sagan, former resident of Night Window artist studios. As the federal eviction moratorium expires soon after the November election we expect this program to become increasingly important.
--Sharon Knight, president of Hope Communities, talks about recent series of safety meetings at Hope Communities: what brought about the meetings and progress made so far.
--Group Living ordinance, ECNA vote via electronic ballot, two-week or Sept. 29 deadline (must attend this current ECNA meeting to be eligible to vote!). This zoning ordinance has been widely discussed in the press and covered at two ECNA meetings so far. Let's discuss what should be on our ballot at this meeting. Suggestions include: (1) approval of current changes to the ordinance, (2) adoption of INC recommendation to delay (please see below), (3) refusal of current process.
